An exciting opportunity has arisen within Six Degrees Social Enterprise, we are looking to recruit a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work as part of the National Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT) here in Salford.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

  • Evidence of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Training Qualification (trainees soon to complete training welcome to apply)
  • Provide timely triage and deliver brief interventions to those experiencing common mental health problems
  • Good knowledge of the stepped care model
  • Effective management of case load and a commitment to delivering patient centered high quality care
  • Effective organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
  • Ability to mentor/support trainee staff
  • Ability to travel to venues in Salford
