An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified clinical psychologist to join the innovative Liverpool Cancer Psychology Service. The service results from a unique partnership between the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust, the Liverpool University Division of Clinical Psychology and Liverpool CCG.

We are looking for an experienced clinical psychologist to join our busy team in delivering a high quality psychology service to in-patients and out-patients requiring assessment and psychological therapy. You would be joining a team of clinical, health and assistant psychologists working in cancer services. This post is ideally suited to a qualified psychologist who has some experience of working in a clinical health psychology setting. Specific experience of working with cancer patients and their carers is welcomed. You will also have an interest in working in a service that seeks to embed clinical research into clinical services so that service provision and service development are truly evidence-based in the interests of patients and carers.
Professionally you will join a well-established psychology service for people in Liverpool affected by cancer which has been adopted by Macmillan Cancer Care. Individual clinical supervision is available, and CPD is strongly supported. The post has professional links with other clinical psychologists in the Trust providing clinical health psychology services. You will hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.

Informal enquiries are welcomed.
