To all service managers/clinical leads – the Counsellors working in the NHS Network was established in 2014 for counsellors working with NHS patients in the North West, to:
- Share clinical expertise and good practice
- Support continuing professional development
- Promote the counselling profession within the NHS
- Contribute to the aims and activities of PPN North West as part of the Centre for Professional Workforce Development
The network has a membership of 100 counsellors who meet twice a year. The network has benefitted greatly from the support of local universities who have very kindly hosted these meetings and also provided speakers. We would like to raise the awareness of this network to those services who have not had a presence at past meetings and I would be grateful if you would circulate the following “hold the date” message to the counsellors in your services about the next meeting:
HOLD THE DATE:
Nnext Counsellors working in the NHS Network Meeting will be taking place on Wednesday 5th April 2017 from 1:30pm – 4:30pm at the University of Central Lancashire.
More information and an agenda will be circulated shortly.
