Health Education England (HEE) have been supporting the development of an advanced practice credential for registered health and care practitioners working in learning disabilities and autism services.

HEE are now seeking nominations from organisations wishing to support staff working in learning disabilities and autism to access funding for studying the multi-professional credential in learning disabilities and autism for advanced practice.

Click the attached documentto read supporting information giving further details of the credential qualification.

To provide details of nominees for funding, organisations will need to complete an online scoping survey, which can be accessed via this link. The online survey is intended to collect responses scoping interest for completing the advanced practice credential in learning disabilities and autism. The survey should be completed by learning disabilities/ autism service leads who are nominating colleagues within their organisation for accessing HEE funding of the credential. A separate survey response needs to be completed for each individual nominee from an organisation. On receipt, the survey responses will be collated and distributed to each Regional Faculty for Advancing Practice for further consideration of the nominees from their respective region.

The online survey responses should be provided by Friday 12th February 2021.
