The Complex Trauma and Resilience Research Unit (C-TRU), a research unit within Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Manchester, is seeking to appoint a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to contribute to a range of clinical studies and trials funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).

The post will have a leading role in planning, coordinating, managing and completing Clinical Psychology research projects undertaken in collaboration with C-TRU, in particular research led by Professor Sandra Bucci (C-TRU Co-Director) and Dr Filippo Varese (C-TRU Director). These include, but are not limited to, clinical trials with young survivors of sexual abuse and online childhood sexual abuse, trauma survivors with early psychosis and research projected linked to the NIHR Research Professorship awarded to Professor Sandra Bucci (digital interventions in severe mental health problems) and the NIHR Advanced Fellowship awarded to Dr Filippo Varese (trauma therapies in early psychosis).
