The Behavioural Science and Public Health Network Annual Conference “Collaborating to Build Fairer Communities” is being held virtually from Tuesday 8th February – Thursday 10th February 2022. 

The main theme of this year’s conference is health inequalities, and the timetable is as follows:

Tuesday 8th February 13:00-14:15*: We will showcase four examples of behavioural science, social science, and public health in addressing and tackling health inequalities. Chaired by Dr Michelle Constable (BSPHN Chair)

Wednesday 9th February 13:30-14:30**: BSPHN Discussion - Using Behavioural Science to Address Health Inequalities.  Keynote speakers: Professor Jim McManus, Professor Falko Sniehotta, and Professor Mike Kelly; Chaired by Professor Vivien Swanson

Thursday 10th February 13.30-14:30: Beyond the Individual: Essential Components for Tackling Health Inequalities and Understanding the Contributions of Social Science to Public Health in Harnessing the Power of Diversity and Inclusion. Keynote speakers: Professor Dame Theresa Marteau and Dr Joanna Semlyen; Chaired by TBC
