In response to my younger brother’s current battle with oesophageal cancer, and as a way of saying thank you for the care he is receiving I have committed to completing a 22 mile Macmillan ‘pseudo-channel swim’. Psuedo as it is going to be done in a pool (phew!) and doesn’t have to be completed in one go (double phew!; not least due to the time it’ll take me to do 1,416 lengths!).
I hope you don’t mind me raising awareness of this and asking you to consider sponsorship. I am hoping to raise a meaningful amount but as I am not a social media aficionado it makes the process more difficult. If you would like to find out more or are contemplating sponsorship please follow the link below. Please also circulate to others who may wish to donate to this cause.
Thanks for taking the time to consider this.
