The PPN Northwest has appointed a Clinical Leadership Fellow for each of the Northwest ICS regions. The role of these fellows is to develop a network of Chief Psychological Professions Officers (CPPOs) and to help those CPPOs to inform, influence and enable their systems to listen to the voice of psychological professions.
This session will be a workshop with the following themes:
- • How do we increase and promote the profile of the Chief Psychological Professions Officer (CPPO) role
- • Introducing the CPPO leadership fellows and how they can help promote CPPOs
- • What do you want, as psychological leaders, from the CPPO leadership fellows?
- • What do you, as potential CPPOs, want from a network or Community of Practice?
- • What is the best way to find out what your staff want from you, as a CPPO?
Aims of the New & Emerging Roles Forum:
- Receive updates, share intelligence and best practice on new and emerging roles across the NW and other regions.
- Provide a forum within which CPPOs and PP workforce leads can develop an understanding of new and emerging roles within the PPS and consider how these relate to strategic workforce planning without their own organisations.
- Facilitate conversation with national influencers, decision makers & professional bodies on issues of workforce development, including opportunities for strengthening accreditation and regulation of new and emerging roles.
Join us and help shape the conversation about building leadership and influence within the psychological professions!
