Re: Spring 2021 Joint North of England IAPT Leadership & Innovation Forum: ‘IAPT, Covid-19 & Beyond’ - 20th May 2021 from 09:30:00am – 16:00pm.  A FREE VIRTUAL EVENT FOR IAPT ACROSS THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

We are delighted to announce details of the Spring 2021 IAPT Leadership & Innovation Forum (IAPT L&IF) to be jointly hosted by the North West & North East & Yorkshire Psychological Professions Networks. You can register your place or view the full programme here. Please feel free to circulate this to your network or any interested parties.

By Spring 2021 we will standing at a unique point in time where, whilst we continue to respond to the unprecedented challenges of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will also start to gather momentum looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities for  growing and developing the IAPT workforce to meet the mental health objectives of the NHS Long Term Plan.

Our virtual forum will  bring together clinical leaders; workforce representatives, commissioners, workforce planners and service users from across the North of England to consider important questions about the impact of the pandemic on IAPT services and the communities and individuals they serve, whilst also to collectively reflect on what have we learned and what can we take forward in order to inform the development of a call to action to champion the valuable expertise and unique innovations of IAPT services across the North of England.

This event is for anyone involved in the delivery of IAPT services – managers, clinical leads, high intensity therapists, counsellors and PWPs – and anyone interested in ensuring that IAPT delivers the best possible services for the communities we serve.

We are delighted that Professor David Clark, National Clinical Lead for IAPT will join us, along with a panel of national and regional leaders for a varied and interesting programme, combining keynote speakers, facilitated groups and panel discussion.
